THE TOWN FOUNDATION - DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

Starts - 28th January 2020

The Town Foundation is delighted to be continuing with their Female

Development Centre programme.

The new Foundation programme is coached by FA and UEFA Licenced

coaches to help girls develop further as a player both on and off the pitch.

Girls are coached at Leeds Road Sports Complex on Tuesday evenings,

with the third of these sessions starting on Tuesday 28th January 2020

and running for a seven-week cycle.

The Female Development Centre is for girls between the age groups

of U11 and U14 and will run from 4.45pm to 6pm each week.

Girls participate in a set programme already designed to aide player development across the FA’s 4-Corner model.

Upon registration they will be given the training schedule and themes of work for the initial weeks and then on the final week it is hoped there will be a fixture to challenge the group around teamwork and understanding of individual responsibilities within a team.

The cost of the seven-week programme is £70 (training pack additional).

The PDC will not affect participation in anyway with your current club, the programme is simply designed to help create advanced opportunities to help improvement in female footballers.

Huddersfield Town Ladies Manager and Town Foundation Coach, Ashley Vickers, commented:

“We are thrilled to offer girls in the local community this unique opportunity to be part of our Player Development Centre."

“These special sessions will provide young girls with top-notch coaching aimed specifically at their age group."

“We have had a lot of interest and expect places to fill up quick, so if you’re interested, please contact me.”
