Town’s impressive 100% start to the season came to an end as they lost to the only goal of their home game against Barnsley White.

In a match where Town created many openings, including a first-half, shot from Alyssa Valenti which rattled the woodwork, the hosts were unlucky to lose out to a low finish on 64 minutes.

The Barnsley defence stayed strong and their keeper proved a safe pair of hands as the visitors took the points.

Player of the match for Town was Mia Harris for another excellent performance.
