The Development team maintained their unbeaten record this season with an emphatic home win over Barnsley Reserves in the group stage of the FAWNL Reserve league cup.

Cassidy Clift opened the scoring early in the game with a long range effort into the top corner.

Both sides then had further chances before with 26 minutes gone, Macy Ellis made it 2-0 with an excellent finish across the keeper.

A few minutes later and Emma Samways raced through to slot home another goal.

Half time 3-0.

Town didn't take long to extend their lead in the second half when Olivia Taylor struck in the opening minute. However, Barnsley pulled a goal back in the 50th minute before Town extended their lead back to 4 goals when Samways scored her second of the game, 5-1.

Further goals were scored at regular intervals with Samways completing her hat trick, before Lois Scholefield started and then scored a second half hat trick in the space of 15 minutes.  Emily Brett also got herself on the scoresheet with Town eventually running out 10-1 winners.
