Huddersfield Town 0-3 Derby County
Last week it was Town's keeper Laura Carter that was the hero, this week it was Derby County's Sarah Morgan who pulled off a string off impressive saves to deny Town a goal.
The game was evenly matched with Town possibly shading possession but three goals on the break from Derby cost Town the points and relegated them to third position in the FA Women's Premier league.
Derby had the first chance of the game after a little confusion in Town's defence but the shot was put just wide.
At the other end a corner from Sarah Danby was headed just wide by Carla Baxby.
Another corner and a free header was goal bound but Derby cleared off the line
10 minutes in and a big penalty shout for Town as Sarah Danby was taken down at the shins but the referee waved away the fierce appeals.
Four minutes later Town were caught out from a counter attack and Derby took their chance to score the first goal when Andi Bell beat the offside trap before laying the ball across the box for Nikki Ledgister to fire home.
In the 20th minute the Derby keeper makes a big save from Emily Heckler's strike which was pushed out for another corner.
Town have another penalty appeal waved away as Heckler appears to be brought down from behind but once again the referee waves away the appeals.
Two strong penalty shouts and the assistant referee had a clear view of each but chose not to get involved.
In the 33rd minute a goal bound shot was cleared off the line by Town's Danielle Whitham.
Town continued to press but the Derby keeper continued to keep her goal intact.
HALF TIME Derby went in at the break 0-1 up after a fairly even first half.
2 minutes into the second half and Derby doubled their lead with another breakaway goal and a shot which gave Carter no chance 0-2.
On the hour mark Town came close again but, Derby cleared off the line after a goal line scramble.
A few minutes later and the Derby keeper went into the book after taking out the Katie Nutter outside her area.
With 15 minutes remaining the Derby keeper Sarah Morgan makes a triple save to deny Town yet again.
Then Derby's defender Molly Johnson clears of the line.
As Town pressed for a goal Derby broke quickly again and a good through ball split the Town defence and the striker slotted it past Carter to make it 0-3.
