On the back of a 7-1 victory against Sheffield FC the Development squad went into the game against  Lincoln City in a vibrant mood. This was evident after just 3 minutes when Molly Ellis started off the rout after some excellent build up play, Molly beat her to defender to put the Terriers ahead. 4  more goals followed in the 1st half for the terriers after a brace from both Tara Duce and Emma Samways put Town in an unassailable lead. Although disappointment soon followed, after giving away a cheap freekick Lincoln grabbed a goal back after Town failed to defend the free kick the Lincoln City striker headed home past terrier’s keeper Laura Carter with their first meaningful attack of the game.

After the break it took only 8 minutes to grab another goal as Lois Scholefield volleyed home at the back post from a Tara Duce corner. The resurgent Terriers captain Tara Ducecompleted her hat trick mid way through the second half after a good spell of having the ball Tara was played through one on one with the imps keeper and she kept her composure to and slotted home onto the bottom right hand corner to make the score 7-1 to the terriers.
