Huddersfield Town Development 3-0 Leeds United Reserves
The Development squad bounced back from their County Cup exit with a dominant performance again Leeds Utd which saw the Terriers win 3-0.
Town started where they finished off 48 hours after the Barnsley game and kept the ball for large quantities of the match.
Robyn Hartkey continued her fine form in front of goal by cheekily lobbing the keeper from 18 yards following good pressure from the midfield on 15 minutes.
Amy Broomhead went close twice with half chances and Walker had a powerful header saved on the line following a teasing Duce corner.
It was a Duce corner on 35 minutes which put Town 2 goals up when a fantastic whipped cross evaded everyone and went straight in from the angle.
HT 2-0
Town were raring to go again and came out with the same desire as the first half to soon find themselves 3 in front when MOM Rose Priestley poked home a Hartley corner.
Digva and Laughton were lively after coming on and combined brilliantly on several occassions down the right flank, two crosses inches away from the oncoming striker.
McCamons mazey run saw her hit the outside of the post while Cartledge had a header cleared off the line.
Pare was tested in a rare Leeds attack towards the end but saved comfortably as Town earned themselves a clean sheet and 3 points to move up to fourth in the league with plenty of games in hand over the 3 above them.
