         Huddersfield Town LFC Under 10's 3 - Harworth Colliery Under 10's 2

                                                                                                                   

The under 10's won their second group game after a loss last weekend.

This was one of their performances of the season, when they passed the ball around the pitch with great confidence and control from the first minute.

Town created the better chances in the first half and also had the bigger share of possession but, it took until 5 minutes before half time for them to open their account.

As the ball broke towards the corner, it was passed into the area when the impressive Sienna Noble slotted it past the Harworth keeper to give Town the lead.

Half time 1-0

The second half continued as the first with Town well in control and creating a number of half chances.

Town doubled their lead 10 minutes in when Evie Franks played the ball through to Abigail Shaw who put the ball nicely past the keeper.

Jude Mellor had a couple of long range shots in the first half of the game which both went just wide of the Harworth goal.

For Town's third goal it was player of the match Mellor who struck a fantastic long range shot into the back of the Harworth net.

In the last five minutes of the game, Town relaxed their grip and the impressive Harworth number seven scored twice in quick succession but, Town held on for a well deserved win.
