The u12s 1st league game of the season was a huge test away to west end terriers. Town dominated the majority of the game and could have been 3 up in the 1st 10 minutes but simply struggled to find the back of the net. Town did eventually score when the ball fell to our captain Sienna Noble who scored a great goal from the edge of the box to make it 1-0. After that town had plenty more chances but failed to score and in the end were punished by west end who scored 2 goals to take a 2-1 lead into half time.

The second half town continued to dominate the game and equalised 10 minutes into the half through a fantastic solo effort from Evie Franks who calmly slotted the ball into the bottom corner. Town really piled on the pressure from this point and scored another 5 goals without reply. 2 goals from Jude Mellor, 2 from Sienna Noble and 1 from Lucia Morrison sealed an emphatic win for the u12s. Player of the match went to Sienna Noble who scored a hat trick and put in a real captains performance. 

 

Overall a great start to the season for the girls and they hope to continue there good form next week when they face Wickersley.
