The under 12s were beaten by Worksop on Saturday in a game that saw few positives from the young Terriers.

 

The girls never got out of first gear and were 1-0 down early on following several weak challenges allowing the Worksop number 10 to dance through a finish low into the corner.

 

Town did manage an equaliser with their first shot on target before half time when Maddie Hall neatly tucked away a close range effort.

Town never showed up in the second half and were soon 2-1 down when the defence switched off to leave the number 10 ummarked at the back post to slide home a teasing cross.

 

Town did have most of the possession but the only clear cut chance fell to Molly  Firth 3 yards out with an open goal but somehow fired over the bar.

 

Time ran out for Town as they slumped to 3 losses in 4 games.
