The u12s made it 3 wins from 3 as they met Charnock in there 1st game at the stafflex arena. After being on fire in there 1st 2 games Town were no where near there best and really struggled to break down a strong Charnock defence. The majority of the game was played in Charnocks half but Towns passing and end product wasn't quite up to scratch. Ruby Haigh went close with a free kick which narrowly went over the bar. Not long after Town went close again this time hitting the post and the 1st half ended 0-0. 

 

In the 2nd half Town upped there game but still found it hard to score past the Charnock Goalkeeper. Eventually they did manage to score, a nice ball played into Lucia Morrisons path and she neatly slotted the ball into the bottom corner. Not Long after Town double there lead, Sienna Beaumonts shot was too powerful for the goalkeeper and and found the bottom corner. Town kept pressing for more goals and eventually got a 3rd, this time a fantastic free kick which was rifled in the top corner from our Captain for the day Evie Franks. Lucia Morrison could have had a brace close to the end as she was through on goal but her shot came back off the post. Player of the match went to Evie Franks. 

 

Overall not the best performance but the girls still dug Deep and got the win to continue there great start to the season. 

 

The u12s are back at the stafflex again next week as they host Barnsley.
