Huddersfield Town u13's 2 - Sheffield United Community u13's 5
A woeful first half and mistake ridden final 5 minutes cost the under 13's massively against Sheffield United in a heavy 5-2 home defeat.
Town never left first gear in the first half with United winning every ball all over the park.
Weak defending saw Town go 2 down in the first 15 minutes in what was clear to see an away side wanting the game more than the hosts.
Town barely managed an attack as poor control and distribution was present in every played except MOM Charlie Ramsden.
Half Time: 0-2
Town received a lively half time talking to and immediately came back into the game after 5 changes were made.
Every player fought for the ball and didn't give a sniff of the ball to the opponents for the next 30 minutes.
Gina Wainwright scored her first goal for the club rising highest in the box to head home a dangerous Ramsden corner.
Gindra went close twice from distance and Ramsden saw a 20 yard free kick tipped onto the underside of the bar for United to scrape away.
Ella Rejiba scored an equaliser for Town when Ramsden found her centre midfield partner in space on the edge of the box to unleash a powerful drive into the top corner.
Town had the ball cleared off the line from another corner but 5 minutes from the end the tide changed.
Weak work in midfield allowed a quick break from United as Town conceded a corner. Although the initial corner was cleared the winger had to much time to pick out an unmarked player at the back post after the defence went AWOL. Redfern saved the shot but a United player was there to follow in.
Town completely switch off for the last couple of minutes and weakly conceded another 2 goals.
