Libby Harris and Charlie Ramsden both hit hat tricks as Town romped to an 11-0 away win against Sheffield United Whites.

 

Town started exactly where they left off last week and came out all guns blazing. It took just 13 seconds for the Terriers to take the lead when Holmes cross was headed home by Ella Rejiba.

 

Town doubled their lead just a minute later when Holmes was tripped on the edge of the box, Ramsden stepping up to fire the resulting free kick into the top corner.

 

Skipper Gina Wainwright bundled the ball home from close range after a Ramsden corner before Ramsden herself smashed in another free kick from the edge of the box.

 

Rejiba doubled her tally following an inch perfect through ball from Firth who then set up Harris for her first of the game.

 

Maddie Hall superbly volley in a deep cross from Burgess and Harris completed a 9 minute hat trick with 2 goals just before half time.

The lead gave Town the opportunity to tinker with the side which slowed down the scoring rate in the second half, however Town still knocked the ball around for fun and created multiple opportunities.

 

Ramsden and Holmes shot low past the keeper from 20 yards as debutant Ellie Brown marked her first game with a well earned clean sheet.
