The under 14's progressed to the quarter finals of the league cup with a strong and controlled performance against Dronfield Town.

Jada Simon almost opened the scoring for Town in the third minute but, her effort flew wide of the Dronfield goal.

Tamara Wilcock did open the scoring in the 8th minute with a calm finish.

A few minutes later and Mia Harris was brought down in the box. She brushed herself down and stepped up to calmly stroke the penalty into the corner of the net, 2-0.

In the 20th minute, Harris added a third goal after latching onto a rebound.

Half time 3-0

The early minutes of the second half were full of action with first Alex McKie having a shot saved then, Lucy Grice shooting wide before, McKie hit the Dronfield post.

Eventually the fourth goal came when Simon crossed the ball in to McKie who volleyed it home.

With 12 minutes remaining player of the match Wilcock made it 5-0 with a nice lob over the Dronfield keeper.

A minute later and Harris completed her hat trick before, at the other end, Dronfield shot just wide of Town's goal.

Chloe Latham made it 7-0 with 13 minutes remaining and then Wilcock completed her hat trick just 4 minutes later.

McKie went on a strong run before crossing to Wilcock to score the goal of the game with a tremendous volley, 9-0.

Another volley from Wilcock completed the scoring in the final minute, 10-0.
