Doncaster Belles 3 Huddersfield Town u14's 1
The under 14's went down to their first defeat of the season against a strong and determined Doncaster Belles side.
Playing downhill in the first half, Town struggled to gain any control of the game which was played on a very small pitch. Doncaster were however, strong in the tackle and worked hard throughout.
Town had a couple of early chances, one just wide from Jada Simon.
At the other end of the field, Keira Millward was called into action to pull off a good save and just a few minutes later, Doncaster fired a shot narrowly wide of Town's goal.
Doncaster made the breakthrough in the 27th minute when a shot was deflected into the corner of Town's net, giving Millward no chance.
Tamara Wilcock was being marked by two or three players throughout the entire game, but she fired a shot just over the Belles bar in the final minute of the half.
Half time 1-0.
Seven minutes into the second half when a shot from Laura Hulme deceived the Belles keeper, 1-1, and just a few minutes later Isobella Kington had a shot well saved.
On the hour mark Belles made it 2-1 following a defensive mix up and, 5 minutes from full time wrapped up the game with another decent shot into the corner of Town's net.
