The under 14's maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a comfortable win over a determined Steel City Wanderers team.

Town passed the ball around well throughout the game and opened the scoring in the 6th minute when Mia Harris played in Isobella Kington who made no mistake.

Harris made it 2-0 just a few minutes later with this time, Kington the provider.

Kington followed this up with a nice headed goal to make it 3-0 and then good interplay between Alex McKie and Harris led to Town's fourth.

McKie made it 5-0 with a great left footed strike on the half volley, before Leah Pearman struck from distance to make it 6.

McKie finished the half with Town's 7th and her second of the game.

Half time 7-0.

Laura Hulme opened Town's account in the second half with a good strike into the roof of the Wanderers net before defender Millie Rumney made it 9-0 with a left foot finish.

Tamara Wilcock who played most of the game at centre half, got onto the scoresheet with an excellent lob from distance before Pearman got her second of the game to make it 11-0.

Lucy Grice made it 12-0 with a clever back heel from a corner kick before Wilcock flicked home, also from a corner.

Harris completed her hat trick with a couple of minutes remaining and, was rightly was named player of the match after an excellent all round performance.

Despite Town's dominance, Steel City never gave up and fought to the very end to keep Town out.
