The under 14s scored 10 goals for the second game in a row as they made it 2 wins from 2 against Doncaster.

 

It took Town just 3 minutes to open the scoring after good work from Burgess down the wing ended with Ramsden volleying sweetly into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

 

The first of 2 moments of lapse in concentration when Firth held on the the ball to long with the attacker dispossessing play and looping the ball over Redfern from 25 yards.

 

Firth however immediately redeemed herself when her mazey run finished off with a near post finish with the keeper only able to get a toe to the ball.

 

MOM Libby Harris cooly finished her first goal of a well deserved hat trick and skipper Gina Wainwright bundled home a corner before Harris made it 5 right on half time.

Striker Alise Gindra was introduced at half time and immediately made an impact with a goal but for the second time in the game Town were hesitant at the back allowing a similar goal in at the other end, this time Morgan the culprit.

 

Service was soon resumed when Alex Cleverly scored her first ever goal from the club with a miss hit strike which lobbed the unsuspecting keeper. Harris scored her hat trick before being substituted after a start performance and fellow strikers Holmes and Gindra added to the score to make it double figures for the terriers.

 

Not the best display from Town but lots of positives to take as they take on Millmoor Black next Saturday at the Stafflex.
