                  Rotherham Utd Whitehill u15's 0 - Huddersfield Town u15's 3

Town responded well after  last week’s loss to turn in a strong performance against a good Rotherham side.

Playing some fluent football Town finally took a deserved lead on 21 minutes when Alex McKie skilfully finished an excellent cross from Lois Mattock.

The deadlock broken, Town took charge of the game when Erin Kay scored superbly with a powerful strike from 25 yards following a corner.

Commanding skipper Gaby Pearson added a third after a goalmouth melee on the stroke of halftime to go into the break in strong position.

Several missed opportunities to add to the score line in the second half meant that Town did not add to their tally.

The home team had a few dangerous attacks during the game but keeper Keira Millward came to the rescue when needed behind a strong, resolute defence.

In a game where several players were in contention for player of the match, Mia Harris took the award for her strong performance when asked to play in several positions at various stages of the game.
