The under 15s were beaten by 3 goals to 2 in their latest league fixture against Sheffield United Reds.

Huddersfield started off brightly with Bella Kington going close with a header. However after six minutes they lost the ball in midfield and Sheffield broke and scored with a shot into the corner of the goal. Town tried to pull the score back and Alex McKie went on a run but her shot went just wide. The score remained 1 - 0 at half time.

Early in the second half Sheffield made the score 2 - 0 when they managed to squeeze the ball home. Four minutes later, in a goal mouth scramble, Maddy Rodd’s shot hit the post and she was on hand to score from the rebound. The under 15s were now putting the Sheffield defence under pressure and it was no surprise when Bella pushed forward and found Laura Holme. Laura’s cross was converted by Bella to make the score 2 - 2. Try as they may Huddersfield could not find a winner. Tegan Stewart-Pybus went on one run through the Sheffield defence and shot narrowly wide. In the final minutes Sheffield broke and scored the winning goal with an excellent shot.

The player of the match was Lois Mattock for her hard work and prompting from midfield.
