The under 14s started the new season where they left off with a convincing 10-0 away victory at Worksop.

It took Town just 2 minutes to open the scoring as debutant Charlotte Holmes scored the first of her 4 goals of the game.

2 minutes later the lead was doubled when Hannah Burgess neatly finished from the angle. Holmes marked her astonishing debut with a further 2 goal in 15 minutes to complete a fine hat trick, with Ramsdens thunder bolt from the edge of the box scoring in between.

Alise Gindra opened her account for the season after excellent build up play left the striker with a 6 yard finish and Libby Harris marked her first game for the club with a tap in after the keeper saved excellently from Turner.

Half Time: 0-7

Town changed things about at half time but were still by far the better side. Amber Ford and Alex Cleverly were introduced for their first competitive debuts to solid up the midfield.

Holmes was reintroduced midway through the second half and within moments had her fourth of the game and Ford had a 20 yard effort saved well by the keeper.

Worksop briefly hit back when a long free kick crashed off the bar and Redfern stated strong and alert to deny the striker an effort from 8 yards but it was Ford who made it 9 for the Terriers with a close range effort.

Ella Rejiba went through one on one late on in the game to cooly slot home from 10 yards as the game came to a close for Towns first 3 points of the season.
