Sheffield Utd Community White 0 - Huddersfield Town u15's 5
The under 15's maintained their 3 point lead at the top of division 1 with another very professional performance away at third placed Sheffield United White.
On a heavy pitch, which made flowing football difficult, Town played out an even first half with neither side really creating anything more than half chances. However, after half time, Town came alive.
10 minutes into the half it was captain Gabby Pearson who got the score going for Town when her floated shot could beat the keeper and crossed the line despite the desperate efforts of a United defender to clear it, 1-0.
Just 4 minutes later and a nice piece of skill from Lois Mattock played in Isobella Kington, who was clinical with her finish, 2-0.
On the hour mark, Laura Hulme, who had caused United trouble from the very start of the game then saw her shot parried by the United keeper and the ball fell to the grateful feet of Mia Harris who poked it home from close range, 3-0.
Despite some United attacks Town, on the whole defended well and on the odd occasion that United broke through, Keira Millward was on hand to make some good saves.
With 13 minutes remaining it was 4-0 as player of the match Hulme's saw her shot saved but ricocheted off a United defender and into the back of the net for an own goal.
In the dyeing minutes, Town made it 5-0 and once again Hulme was involved. She struck a low cross into the area which the United keeper parried, the ball fell to Mattock, who struck the ball home to complete another convincing win.
