Huddersfield Town Women under 16s had another fine win on Saturday against a strong Doncaster Belles team.

 

In a difficult first half the visitors had most of the possession and threatened to break the deadlock on several occasions but the Town defence stood firm.

 

Town grew into the game and were rewarded with two fine goals from the exciting Laura Hulme, played in on both occasions by excellent defence splitting passes from Lois Mattock.

 

After the break the Town girls raised their game and after withstanding an early offensive from the visitors, the home team took control. Lucy Grice struck on 62 minutes before Hulme was played in by Maddy Rodd to complete her hat-trick ten minutes later. 

 

The scoring was completed when Alyssa Valenti played in Mattock who fired home from the edge of the box to make it 5-0.
