The u16s continued their impressive start to the season against a good Millmoor side.

 

After a tense opening when Keira Millward made an important save to thwart a breakaway goal from the visitors, Town took control with three goals in fifteen first half minutes from Laura Hulme, Isobella Kington and Lois Mattock.

 

In the second half the hosts continued to dominate.  Hulme made it 4-0 on 47 minutes with a second assist of the game from the skilful Alyssa Valenti.

 

Kington added a fifth on 51 minutes before Valenti scored ten minutes later with a penetrating run into the box after being played in by player of the match Tegan Stewart-Pybus.

 

Kington completed a deserved hat-trick in the 77th minute before the visitors’ consolation goal at the close.
