Town under 16s continued their strong start to the season in difficult, wet conditions at Club Doncaster.

Town took the game to their opponents from the first whistle with two goals from the outstanding Laura Hulme each side of a great finish by Lucy Grice putting the visitors in control within half an hour. 

 

Although disappointed to concede a soft goal just before half time, Town went 4-1 up on 50 minutes when the grafting Isobella Kington was put through by Grice to calmly slot home.

 

A mix up in the Town goalmouth led to a second for Doncaster which briefly gave the hosts hope of a fight back but the visitors again took control of midfield with the skilful, composed and hard working Lois Mattock putting in another strong performance.

 

Alyssa Valenti then scored the goal of the game with a superb solo run through a crowd of players to slot home. 

 

Mia Harris scored a deserved sixth before Hulme completed her hat trick in the last minute.
