Town’s under 16s returned to winning ways on a heavy pitch at Millmoor on Saturday with a strong 3-1 victory.

Laura Hulme proved the difference between the two sides with all three Town goals.  Her first came on 34 minutes with a strike from a narrow angle.  On 43 minutes Hulme was played in by Lois Mattock to double the lead. Bella Kington created the opening for Hulme to complete her hat trick a minute later.

Millmoor broke through and the striker calmly slotted home to reduce the arrears on 50 minutes.

After a fine player of the match performance from Alyssa Valenti, Town go into the Christmas break at the top of Division 1.
