The under 9's made it three wins from three to top their group at the Group stage of the league cup.  They will now go into the knock out section with their next game to be played in mid January.

The under 9's started the game strongly with early attacks being well defended by Crosspool.

Town's open goal came in the 11th minute when Izzy Cleverly shot home after a nice pass from Maddy Hamilton, 1-0.

This drew an immediate reaction from Crosspool who levelled at the other end within a minute, 1-1.

Holly Wilkinson then restored Town's lead with an amazing shot, 2-1 but, yet again Crosspool took only a couple of minutes to draw level again, 2-2.

Just before half time, Wilkinson scored her second of the game as Harriet Oldfield passed a good ball to her and she fizzed a powerful shot home.

Half time 3-2.

Town started the second half strongly and an Oldfield double extended Town;s lead to 5-2 within 6 minutes of the restart. 

Then just two minutes later, she completed her hat trick after a nice pass from Hamilton, 6-2.

Goalkeeper Tove Clayton then pulled off a couple of fine saves to deny Crosspool before Cleverly made it 7-2.

As the half progressed Town had further chances to extend their lead through Cleverly and Jayda Jobarteh but a goal to complete her hat trick made it 8-2 as Wilkinson thundered yet another one.
